Current Photo exhibit at MMCTV Studio
 Join us for the opening of a 33 year retrospective of Jericho photographer Peter Wolf's exhibit at MMCTV 9/28/12 through 12/30/12. Sunshine streaming through snowy woods, Carlos Santana jamming in Burlington,
and a dimly lit country store are among the images that await you.
Peter Wolf got hooked on photography at summer camp in the early 70's when
he first saw a black & white print magically appear from the chemistry tray.
The early years consisted of lots of shooting and experimenting with lighting
and composition along with perfecting the technical craft of photo processing in
the darkroom.
In high school Peter worked for the Valley Reporter in Waitsfield as a photo
journalist, which continued with his work with The Cynic at the University of
Vermont. After graduating from UVM Peter worked in the commercial photo field in
the Boston area doing industrial & advertising photography with a number of
photographers as a freelance assistant. In 1989 Peter started his own studio
continuing his work in industrial & advertising photography, and expanded
his work into multi media including video and interactive multimedia & web
design.
In 2000 Peter received an AXIEM (Absolute excellence in Electronic Media)
Award for “The Wilson Bentley Digital Archives” an Interactive multimedia CD-ROM
showcasing the work of famous Jericho, Vermont snow flake photographer Wilson
“Snowflake” Bentley. The digital archive includes over 1000 of Bentley’s
photographs, a 1917 film clip, articles by and about Bentley and fun games and
more. Wolf Multimedia Studio produced a video documentary in 2004 entitled
Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley, Snowflakes in Motion. This documentary highlights
Bentley’s struggle and persistence to be the first to photograph snowflakes with
a microscope, being credited with the discovery that “No two snowflakes are the
same”.
Peter continues to shoot countless images of nature, live musical
performances, products & people in his Jericho studio and also produces
short form documentary video.
This exhibit is a 33 year retrospective of Peter’s photography from the late
1970’s to 2012. It begins with his roots in B&W nature photography to photo
journalism to commercial studio work and back to nature.

CD-ROM receives Sliver AXIEM Award
 Hats
of to Peter Wolf of Peter Wolf Photo-Graphics. The Jericho based Multimedia
Studio has been presented with a Silver AXIEM ("Absolute Excellence in
Electronic Media") Award for the production of the Wilson Bentley Digital
Archives (Volume 1) CD-ROM. The national award was given in the educational
interactive media category. The Bentley CD-ROM competed against more than
1300 submissions from all 50 states to capture this prestigious award.
Peter has spent countless hours compiling thousands of Bentley images
and documents, and transferring them to a digital format. Besides the
archival benefits of the program, Peter also created a wonderful educational
(and fun) interactive biography of Bentley's life and work. Visit the
"Snowflake" Bentley Exhibit at the Old Red Mill, in Jericho, to take a
test run of the program at the newly completed, touch screen kiosk (or

). It has quickly become a favorite with tourists and locals alike.
